College Prep
Save Our Youth’s College Prep Program is offered to all mentored youth who are high school seniors. College Prep is a year-long intensive training series that guides seniors in conjunction with their mentors through the rigorous college application process and prepares students to attend the college of their choice. In addition every mentee will receive a scholarship from SOY according to their financial need.
Save Our Youth’s College Prep program specifically equips youth and mentors with resources and knowledge that will ensure that every youth will graduate from high school and go on to college the following fall.
When the school year begins, monthly College Prep sessions take place for two hours in the evening at the Save Our Youth offices. Mentors and youth eat a meal together and receive instruction for that night’s topic.
