What Is the Cost of Poverty Experience?
COPE is a 2.5-hour, interactive poverty simulation that challenges participants to navigate a month in the life of a family living with limited resources.
Participants consistently leave with:
A deeper understanding of how systems impact families
Greater empathy for the decisions made under the strain of poverty
A clearer picture of why relationships and stability matter so much
This is not a presentation.

For those who give, serve, lead, and walk alongside others, COPE offers perspective that sharpens compassion and grounds outreach in empathy rather than assumption. To protect the integrity of the experience, COPE is intentionally limited in size. While there is no cost to attend, each experience is thoughtfully curated for those present—which means your participation truly matters.
