Hope is meant to be shared.

A Hope Promoter is a young person who is learning to build hope in their own life—and use it to make an impact on the people around them.

That could look like becoming more confident.

Speaking up when you normally wouldn't.

Learning how to connect with new people.

Trying something you've never done before.

Discovering more about your faith, strengths, purpose, and future.

And eventually, using what you're learning to encourage and influence others. You don't become a Hope Promoter because you already have all of that. You become one by being willing to grow.

Could this be for me?

This might be a great fit if...

✅ You want to grow, even if you're not totally sure what that looks like yet.

✅ You're willing to try new things.

✅ You can show up and follow through.

✅ You're open to feedback.

✅ You want to build your confidence.

✅ You want more opportunities to meet people, experience new things, and think about your future.

✅ You're open to conversations about faith and hope.

✅ You and your mentor are willing to take this on together.

And no...

You do not need to be great at public speaking.

You do not need leadership experience.

You do not need to be outgoing.

You do not have to already know what you want to do with your life.

That's what this experience is here to help you develop.

HP Experiences

HP Experiences

Throughout the year, you and your mentor will take on different HP Experiences—challenges, adventures, conversations, and opportunities designed to get you out of your routine and trying something new. You might meet someone who works in a career you're curious about, take on a challenge that builds your confidence, use your voice in a new way, explore your faith, serve your community, or discover an opportunity you didn't even know existed.

Each experience helps you level up in real life—and as you complete them, you'll unlock new experiences, celebrate your progress, and see just how much you're capable of.

What am I committing to?

What am I committing to?

Commitment is important—and we know you can do it. Hope Promoters is a one-year commitment, and part of the challenge is showing up, following through, and being willing to grow.

During the year, you’ll take part in workshops and experiences with other teens in the Hope Promoters group, attend events with your mentor, complete about one HP Experience each month, and work together on a community project. You’ll get chances to meet new people, try things you may not normally get to do, and push yourself outside your comfort zone.

And there’s something to work toward: youth who complete the Hope Promoters year will be invited to a bonus summer retreat and receive a $250 stipend for completing the program. We’re going to challenge you—but we also believe you’re capable of finishing what you start.
